Today has been one of the best days of our life. It was the first time we got to see our child. What proud parents we are. Our baby was wiggling everywhere and giving the ultrasound tech all kinds of trouble. Thats my little stinker. They decided Amber was 14 weeks and 6 days along which puts the baby's due date at November 12. The heart rate was 155 beats per minute and everything seemed normal. So enough rambling to the pictures

Closing Finally
YAY! Tonight we will finally be closing on the house and hopefully by Friday we will begin moving in. This has been a much longer process then we had expected, with many more delays then expected and we are glad it is finally going to be over.

Great Weekend
It was a wonderful weekend. 30 hour famine was wonderful, thank you for all your prayers. We had planned for the event counting on20 kids and ended up having 37 students show up. We filled the 30 hours of not eating with devotions, service projects, and a whole lot of fun.
For those who don't know 30 hour famine is a program put on through World Vision in which students raise money for world hunger by not eating for 30 hours. It also helps students to begin to feel the same pains that many feel daily worldwide. The students raised around $1300 that will be sent to World Vision to help fight world hunger.

30 Hour Famine
This is the weekend of our youth group's participation in World Vision's 30 Hour Famine. This is a program where the youth will fast for 30 hours. They will participate in activities that will help bring them face to face with the realities of how people who do not have food live. This year all of the funds the kids raise will be sent to Indonesia. Also the kids will perform several service tasks for the community. We ask all of you to pray for the kids and us as we participate in this. Pray for our health as well as a good time for the children and adults.

Having a Cow
Wait thats not right. It should read having a baby. We found out on Wednesday that Amber is pregnant. Though it is hard to see in the picture it is a positive test, and the doctor confirmed the pregnancy on Wednesday. This was unexpected, but we are both very excited.

"New Furniture"
So... since we bought a new house I decided our bedroom furniture needed a change as well. We were handed down a set of furniture from my grandparents Plant a couple of years ago. So we had a great set of furniture; the only problem is that it wasn't quite the right color for the theme we were going for in our room. So a can of black satin finish paint and a hand full of new hardware... Voila!!! "New Furniture" I cannot wait to see what it will look like in the new house.
